My 2015

2015 has been a great year for me. It has been going a lot faster than I wanted it to, but now here we are, on the 31st of December. I started the year happy that I was a Prefect, but I was fearing that it would be similar to last year, when I would constantly get mocked over my mistakes. But 2015 has been amazing. I participated in a whole lot more things, like soccer and triathlon, and I have been more consistent.

I will miss the people that were with me through the year. I had a few scrapes here and there, but overall, I have enjoyed hanging with all of you. It feels like I had more fun in my learning than last year, and I achieved things I never thought I could achieve.

Outside of school, I have had a great year playing club soccer with my team. We came 2nd out of our division, and we even set a record. I didn't participate in much outside of school, and I enjoyed it.

Once more, I would like to thank everyone, inside and outside of school, for helping me throughout the year, and I hope you all have had a wonderful 2015. It's been a great year.

Thomas

Near the end of Term 3, I had been working on a Thomas The Tank Engine Episode. I got the first scene done before the term ended. In Term 4 I found it extremely hard to work on the animation, as I also had to finish other animations, and do maths tasks. What I found frustrating was when I had finished my tasks, and I was only allowed 2 minutes on the computer every 2 days, even when no-one else wanted to use the computers.

The animation was going to mention parts of the first and sixth episodes, and then focus mainly on the seventh episode. I eventually got the intro out the way, and started on the actual episode. On Wednesday the 25th of November, The Manaikalani Ambassadors were having their last hui, and I was one of them. I had changed my script, and I had to add on of my animations for it. I chose to do the Thomas Intro, as that was completely finished and could be passed off as a separate thing. But then I saw something horrifying. The intro that I animated was 6 seconds short, so I added some images of Thomas from Season 1-5. Mrs Tele'a gave me some advice, and it was to add my Batkemelon animation instead. I used that animation, and it was a success.

Thursday 10th of December, was the final episode of PENN. I managed to fit my final animation, 'The Yanomami' on the episode. At the end I fit in the 2 main animations that I never finished, Minecraft Pt 2 and everything that was animated from the Thomas The Tank Engine Episode. I was sad that it wasn't finished, but it was my last animation from Pt England to be seen on PENN.

I do hope that one day, I will be able to complete the animation.

John Waturdose

Click Me For Bigger Image!
One of our last tasks in Music Tech was to create a fictional superhero and create a fact file about them. My hero was John Waturdose. Another thing we had to add was a song or more to go with the hero, and one we made ourselves. The 3 themes from YouTube was xStep, Theory Of Everything, and The Flying Kipper Theme. My made up song was titled 'The New Superhero', and I think it suits this really weird person.

Not only that, I also made a poem about him in my spare time. Enjoy!

John Waturdose is the new old guy
He is very loud. He is not sly
He has no friends but he does have foes
He sits inside watching all the TV shows.

Early each morning as the sun rises,
John puts on his rainbow disguises
Kidnapping coffee and making dreams torn,
Stay away from him. You have been warned.

The battle of LA was his birth date,
That’s why he is not one to contemplate
Why no-one knows if he’s a boy or a girl
That’s because he’s out of this world.

He can use super strength for a small time
He can also rap. But he can’t rhyme
John is the bestest I can be cool
That’s an example. What a fool.

Forever his life, he has never had two
of the same kind of shoe
He never had one to go on his left
John always says that it was theft

Pink Iron Man hat and Spiderman Hand
John is the one who rules this land.
With tape-on wings and pink underpants,
This guy will scare any kind of infants.

Sock tan line and blue tie,
John killed the cake that was a lie
Purple-black staff and a belt too short
He has no favourite kind of sport.

Tan-ish skin and pale white toes

This has been a poem about John Waturdose.

Shalom and Sosaia

Back in year 1, I met a boy named Shalom. We were both in the highest Maths and Reading groups, but because for everything else we were in different groups, I didn't see him that much.

In 2009 onwards, we were in every single class, until 2012, when he left for Australia by the end of Term 3. I was best friends with him, along with Sosaia.

I met Sosaia in year 4, even though he had been at the school for longer. The 3 of were all best friends, but when Shalom left, Sosaia and were sad for the start of Term 4, but things got worse. Sosaia told me that he would be going to Australia too. He left before the term even finished, leaving me super sad, now that both of my best friends had left.
Luckily, I was friends with Jordan Alofi, and I had someone to hang out with and not be lonely for lunch.

Shalom and Sosaia helped mould me into the person I am now. Before I met them, I rarely smiled, I was shy, and I didn't try my best at everything. Thank you Shalom. Thank you Sosaia.

Jingle Bells Parody

Dashing through the sky
In a 9 reindeer sleigh
Over the houses we go
Ho ho-ing all the way
Bells on the sides ring
Waking people up
Santa’s doing a terrible job
I think he’s had enough.

Oh, Santa claus, Santa claus
Why are you so loud?
Your stealth has gone down to 0
Even though you’re in the clouds
Oh, Santa claus, Santa claus
Please just lose some weight
Your reindeers are turning red
From carrying too much freight

Santa sees another house
Inside is a child he stalks
And soon enough he climbing down
Getting stabbed by forks
The child clearly hates him
Thinks that Santa is a creep
But Santa pulls down his pants
And makes the child shriek

A laser gun, laser gun
Was hidden in his pants
Santa’s shooting everyone
Even the infants
Smashing the door, coming in
Is the police
They had been waiting all year
To arrest this giant beast

Pull the trigger, but aim first
And shoot this man
But the reindeers come out of nowhere
Causing a crash
Santa’s escaped, traumatising
Many children's lives
The cops are now searching for him

My Life @ PES

I started school in 2008. My family had recently moved, and Pt England was the best school to them out of the area we were in. I was in Mrs Lal's class, Room 3, but for Reading and Maths I would go over to Mrs George's class, Room 1. I soon became friends with a boy in room 3 named Leighton, and Shalom from Room 1. Around term 4, Shalom and I had Mrs King come to teach us more about reading. At the end of the year, I, as well as some other students, won Academic promise.

In 2009 I was with Mrs Glaze for year 2. Leighton was in Room 8, and so I didn't get to see him much of the school year. So, I became friends with Jordan and Tyrone, who were also in my class. Halfway through the year we had a spelling bee, and I came 5th because I couldn't spell turned properly. But at the end of the year, I got 1st place.

2010 rolled around, and I was a year 3. It was my first time being in a mixed class, a year 3&4 class. There was only 4 year 3's in the class, so we did feel uncomfortable at the start. But we soon settled in, and enjoyed the year. When term 4 came, so did Mrs MacKinlay's baby. So for term 4, we had Mrs Maude. I ended the year fairly well, getting first place in academics.

Now it was 2011, and I was with Mrs King. I was in another mixed class, year 4&5. But from that year onwards, we worked on netbooks. I became friends with Sosaia, and Shalom, Sosaia and I would hang out all the time. A new girl named Thea had joined the class, and she was in the same groups as Shalom and I, and she would boss us around every time we had a task to complete. Some students were also selected to go to Mrs Tele'a's class for extension. It was really fun. We were also presenters for PENN, our school news network. At the end of the year, Shalom and Thea both beat me, leaving me in 3rd place.

When 2012 came, I was in Mrs King's class again. I was really frustrated at Thea. I had been beat by a girl! Frustrated by this, I worked hard to ensure that I would win 1st again, then I would rub it in her face. But Shalom and Thea left by the end of Term 3, so I never found out who was smarter. I was also in extension again, this time in the year 5&6 group. Another thing happening was the Maniakalani Film Festival, and my group did a MTV for it. We first had a small class competition, and the 2 best movies would go to the festival. My groups movie made the cut, and I was one of the presenters. I ended 2012 with first place.

Confident that 2013 was going to be easy, I mucked around. I was one of the school ambassadors, which pushed my cockiness further. I was also in year 5&6 extension. I also got Minecraft on my netbook, and I was being sneaky during class, until I was caught. I almost got the boot from being an ambassador, and I had to serve a massive punishment. A new girl named Ana had joined the class,(Déjà vu,) and she was making me cross, as she would always get high marks on our tasks. For one week in Term 4, we went to Kawau Island for a camp. I was with all of my friends, and I was confident that our team would win. We came 3rd. And I came 2nd in academics, to Ana.

I was trying hard to change my ways when 2014 came, and I changed. I worked hard, and in return, I did the Prefects job of the Mihi during assembly when they were absent, I was one of the directors of the year 7&8 extension movie, I created 1-3 minute animations that met the standards, and best of all, I got 1st place again, and I became a prefect.

My last year, 2015 had now arrived, and I dreaded the day that the school year would end. At the start of the year, I kept wanting to do everything with the new responsibilities. Because of that, I would find myself stressing over time. But I have working on my time management skills, and I have ended the year rather happy, no longer stressed. I would often put my animations before maths, because even if no-one else wanted to animate, I would often only be allowed 2 minutes on the computer. I did find it difficult, having to complete animations, reading tasks, stories, maths tasks, and extension tasks! During Term 3, we had to produce a movie for the Maniakalani Film festival. I had a full story set and ready to go, but Mrs Tele'a, our teacher, was so busy that by the time we could work on the movie, we had 3 days to do so, and the quality was compromised. By the end of the year, I ended up winning 5 awards, one of them being 1st place in academics. I was so happy to win it, but I couldn't have done it without the help of all the teachers I had. I want to thank all the teachers for a great 8 year life here, and I hope that we can see each other again.

Alien Teachers

This poem was made during my spare time in the first school block. Mrs Tele'a had gone to a meeting, and we had another teacher in her place. After several people were getting yelled at, I finished my work and decided to work on this poem. It's from the view of a 6-7 year old child, because, I kinda thought about school the same way.

Early each morning as the sun rises,
The aliens put on their human disguises
Acting as teachers and going to school
So that soon the world is what they rule.

Many parents say that there is nothing to fear
And that the end is nowhere near
But all the children know that ain’t true
They are coming to destroy me and you!

The school day takes away 6.5
Hours a day of our youthful lives
To manipulate our thoughts about alien life
And instead tell us that we are the trouble and strife

Pretending to be sick and not going to school
Does seem wrong, but it is cool
Because we don’t get the wrong information
And we can then learn how to save the nation

But as we get older we realise
That our minds have been deprived
Of the knowledge that we all once knew
Teachers being aliens was not true!

Staying young is the only option
In order to stop this alien construction!
So now I tell you boys and girls,

Stay young! Save this world!

Theory Of Time

While writing Part 13 for Back To The Present, I came up with a theory about time travel. This is the theory that was used for Part 13½.

There are multiple parallel universes. By going really fast, and with an electric spark, one can break through the space-time fabric and travel into the next universe.

The Theory
Example:
Your friend trips over. You go back in time to stop them. But, you are actually going through a wormhole into the next universe. Because of the speed you are going at to make the leap possible, you are reversing time to the desired moment. And now let’s say you stop your friend from tripping. This creates a domino effect in the other universes.

If you want to go back in time again, then you go into the next universe, and it creates a domino effect in the other universes, and so on.

That also means that there is still a universe that not only does your friend trip over, you also magically disappear in the universe you left. And to add onto that, there are 2 you's in that universe. The two of you will not be the same; one will be older.
